Sengen jinja Shinto shrine

The Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine, located at the northern foot of Mount Fuji, is a Shinto shrine that is dedicated to Konohanasakuya-hime, the goddess of Mount Fuji. The shrine is known for its beautiful torii gates, which are said to mark the boundary between the sacred and profane areas. Visitors can also admire the ancient architecture and lush greenery, and learn about the fascinating history of the shrine and its connection to the legendary mountain.
The Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, and admission is free. Visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, as there are several stairs and uphill paths to climb.
