Meiji jingu

Meiji Jingu Shrine is a beautiful and historic Shinto shrine located in the heart of Tokyo. One of the unique features of the shrine is the beautiful forest surrounding it, which was created with the planting of 100,000 trees in the early 20th century. This man-made forest is a peaceful oasis in the midst of the bustling city.

In addition to the forest, the shrine is also home to various gardens, ponds, and buildings that reflect the traditional architecture and design of the Meiji period. Visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture by participating in a Shinto ceremony or admiring the beautiful art and artifacts on display.

Admission to the shrine is free, but there is a fee to enter the Treasure House and Inner Garden. The admission fee for the Treasure House is 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children, while the admission fee for the Inner Garden is 500 yen for adults and 250 yen for children. The shrine is open every day from sunrise to sunset.

If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful escape from the city, Meiji Jingu Shrine is definitely worth a visit.
